Born and raised on St. Croix, one of the beautiful islands of the Virgin Islands, Sherima has always had the love for makeup. She grew up learning to appreciate the artistry of enhancing someone’s beauty. Her love affair began in elementary school where she would always get in trouble with the teachers for wearing lipgloss. She realized that she had talent when she would receive comments from people about her makeup being beautiful. Since then, she has been putting her talents to the test by venturing out as a self-taught makeup artist in the city of Houston,Texas, while also working as a Mental Health case manager. In 2017, Sherima launched SAPBeauty.com to give women of all skin tones the opportunity to feel and look beautiful.
